I love the packaging of this dvd. The book part was a very good touch and informative as well as the music disc. All the actors were superb and the bonus material was OK. I love period pieces because the costumes are so beautiful on the women especially. I have the dvd where Mr Liddell's daughters were interviewed as well as his life story . When I bought this movie I also bought the newest biography written about Eric Liddell which I haven't read yet.

When I saw that this series was now on DVD and at a good price, I did not hesitate to get it. I love to identify with Jamie who is strong as well as humble. This last season has a lot of different and exciting senarios and leaves out a lot of the teacher indentification which I liked. After watching this last season I wanted more. I have aways liked the TV movies with Lindsay Wagner as she has such a natural way of acting that you really think she is that person portrayed. I do hope that the Bionic Woman/Six million Dollar Man TV movies that wrap up these series will be put in a DVD set.

I have a blueray player but when I tried to play this dvd it wouldn't play. I then read the small print on the back of the disc jacket and it mentioned that some dvd players would have to be updated with software. So I went to the website of my brand and tried to download the update but I'm inept so I did send for the disc by mail. After receiving it and updating my machine the movie worked. You learn something new everyday!!
The movie is great in blueray-colors are vibrant. I have watched the movie with the explanation of how it was made and found it fascinating. A great deal of detail went into this film and deserves to be purchased. I also like it that it followed the… Read more
