It's hard to really get into how I feel about this game. It's not a bad game by any means. It's just really disappointing for me as a huge PlayStation fan. If you want to skip that, then find the ***** and read from there.
A lot of the inclusions don't really fill out what PlayStation is to me. Big Daddy (Bioshock) has no special connection to the brand and neither does guy from Dead Space (DLC character). This is not a huge adventure, there isn't a world to explore. There aren't amazing combos to rival hack-n-slash gameplay masters like Bayonetta. And it doesn't have a ton of CG cutscenes.
What it is; is an arena based, monster hunter style game, with a fantastic story, amazing art direction, great graphics, phenomenal music, addictive online (or ad-hoc if you have local friends), and a lore that needs to be explored more.
The story is told through the book, mostly. The opening… Read more
