Once again, as with Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Funimation has released a bluray set with non-selectable subs. You can have English audio with No subs or Japanese audio with FULL subs. Hearing impaired persons can't have English audio with subs, and Japanese literate persons can't listen in Japanese with no subs.
Fopr years, dvds have had selectable subs. There is no excuse for releasing a crippled set like this. Also, audio cannot be changed with the audio button bluray player remotes; you have to go to the bluray menu to do that. That is also retarded. Video and audio quality are decent, but with crippled subtitles, I can only give this an abysmal 1 star. I'd get my money back… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent release, Dec 24 2011
Before the bluray came out, I had the 50th Anniversary "Emerald Edition" dvd with the UK version "Scrooge" as well as the US version, both restored from the best copies of the film then available, including some restored scenes that had been missing. I didn't see any of the problems Badgley described, and I wonder what player he was using for playback. I use a Samsung bluray… Read more
INVINCIBLE 2-DISC BD COMBO PACK(BD+DVD) [Blu-ray]
I had originally downloaded a copy of Invincible because a friend wanted to check it out. After watching it, I wanted to buy a copy for myself, and found that amazon had the bluray combo for an excellent price. I'm not a sports fan, but this based-on-true-life drama is compelling and heartwarming, and suitable for family viewing...there is little objectionable in its language or content; you see far worse in the nightly news. I went to the trouble to research the story and read a little about the person who inspired the main character. He was certainly a person who fought his way to the top despite many obstacles, and it's unfortunate his career ended so soon, but he inspired the team and… Read more
