This is the British version of the show, which is much better than the Americanized one. As much of a jerk as Ramsay is, it makes for great laughs and entertainment as he rips into wannabe chefs and restaurateurs. Bullocks to them! There are 16 episodes (about 45 min each), with a "revisited" feature for several of them where Gordon goes back a year or so later to see how the restaurants are doing.
I enjoyed many of the stories Grapes has to tell here, how could you not with the type of personality he has? I wish there was more flow to how they are told though. There is no real sense of organization when there very well could be. Strachan could have put some more effort into it I think. I realize the basis for the book is a bunch of short blurbs and stories and that makes it hard for there to be flow to it, but I really think it could have been better organized.
