In My Own Words:
I'm from Holland living in San Francisco. Love to travel and when I'm home bound like using books to transport me elsewhere. Alternative movies, yoga and hot springs get me going. I practice Traditional Thai massage as a vocation, which gives me a good excuse to visit Asia often, not that I need one!

I discovered this CD while I was getting a massage and bought it immediately. Don't get me wrong, this is not one of those elevator music new age CD's.Instead it is deeply trance inducing yet strangely grounding. I recommend it highly for bodywork, yoga or making love

So, to make a long story short, save your mon and buy the much better and longer "Arabesque"… Read more

For those who want more insight of the events leading up to the Iranian revolution, this is a good read. It describes especially the mundane terror that the secret police in Iran, the dreaded SAVAK was instilling on the people. The only thing totally absent in the book is an analysis of the role America played in all of this, as this organization was in fact set up by the US and initially even with an American at the helm. Despite these serious omissions this remains quite a well written book about an… Read more
