4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable Listen, Nov. 7 2007
I have listened to this album a couple of times now and find it to be an extremely enjoyable listen. If I had not heard the first album I would probably be enjoying it more. I find the musical style, rhythms and lyrics to be very reminiscent of the debut CD and wondered a couple of times if I were listening to the same songs. Mr. Blunt needs to change up his style just a little, perhaps getting a little input from other writers in order to break out of the box he has built for himself. What he does is great, he just needs to expand his milieu.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful!, Nov. 4 2007
This is the quintessential Christmas album! The song choices are perfect, a balance of sacred and secular, the guest performers are incredible, the musicianship unparalleled. And then, of course, there is the small matter of THE VOICE! Josh's voice is a perfect blend of smooth and stirring, strong and tender, powerful yet caressing. If you only buy one Christmas album this year.....make it this one!

While still singing in several languages and wrapping his velvet voice around some romantic ballads, he ventures further afield, collaborating with the likes of Imogen Heap, Herbie Hancock, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo to produce some very interesting work. The fabulous "Now or Never" and "February Song" will break your heart while "You Are Loved" will soothe and inspire and "Machine" will have you dancing in the aisles. The beautiful baritone is still there but with a… Read more
