I picked up the book from a large display - I wanted something topical and educational at the same time. I got it in this book authored by Leslie Hazelton. Well researched and referenced, I thoroughly enjoyed the walked through that very interesting period in history that has played an enormous part in the history of today. They history of the who, the when, the why, and the significance to the religion and the culture. I was interested to learn of they split, the whys and the factions created.
