After watching Nigella Bites on BBC America, I knew I was onto something. This lady is not only easy on the eyes, she is a marvel in the kitchen. And her laid-back persona comes through in her book. Wonderful recipes, funny vignettes on everyday life and love of food and she even makes the more complicated recipes easy to understand. I especially loved the chapter covering children's recipes. And her easy-going approach to ingredients is most refreshing; giving substitutions and approaches that are always innovative. Even if you don't cook, this book is a joy to read. Do yourself a favor, invite Nigella into your kitchen!
