Kyocera 6.5-Inch Ceramic Grater by Kyocera Advanced Ceramics
Kyocera 6.5-Inch Ceramic Grater by Kyocera Advanced Ceramics
What is there not to love about this grater? I particularly love how the juices collect in the bottom for use in recipes. The no-slip base keeps it secure even when grating frozen ginger. Especially wonderful for high-volume grating. My microplane was beginning to show signs of wear after using it to grate lots of ginger. This I use it at least weekly, sometimes more. Worth every penny.

Ottolenghi and Tamimi team up for another brilliant, compelling and fascinating book. Not only is the photography stunning as in their other books, both the traditional and non-traditional recipes provide glimpses into life in Jerusalem. You learn so much about a culture through its food and this is definitely not an exception. As always, the recipes are reliably and consistently successful. They will not fail you.

If you are interested in adding to your "ethnic" culinary repetoire, this book is a necessary addition to your library. So happy with it.

The first few pages are simple, then the "fun" begins! Immediately you are involved in the difficult grammar. I cannot give this set 5 stars because there should be more speaking on the CDs to coordinate with the book. The speaking is not quite thorough enough for a struggling Canadian. The leap from the first pages to the next is gigantic. Having said that, it is the best book out of several I have and I would recommend it.

This set arrived in poor shape with the book damaged (still usable) and the CD case cracked… Read more
