Shake Hands with the Devil by Romeo Dallaire
Shake Hands with the Devil by Romeo Dallaire

Dallaire's book serves to repeatedly illustrate the absolute, complete and utter failure of wealthy Western nations to extend their awareness and interest to the troubles of a tiny nation in the heart of Africa. The result was one of the fastest, most brutal, and shockingly horrific slaughters of human beings in recent memory.

While the Rwandan genocide has had much written about it since 1994, this book is particularly meaningful as it comes from the man the United Nations gave the impossible task of trying to stabilize a situation that the international community repeatedly showed it cared little about--especially if it might entail the possibility of peacekeepers losing their lives… Read more

Undercover Brother (Widescreen Collector's Edition&hellip DVD ~ Eddie Griffin
Fans of the B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D., rejoice! The Brother Has Landed, with all the funky style you could ask for, and then some.

I'm happy to report that the DVD is very well done, with attractive, appropriately-designed menus (read: funky colors and fonts throughout), a great selection of deleted scenes and outtakes, voice-over feature commentaries by Eddie Griffin (UB) and director Malcolm Lee, a "The Making Of UB" feature, and even includes shorts from the original Internet-based cartoon series put out by… Read more

The Boa Constrictor Manual by Philippe De Vosjoli
The Boa Constrictor Manual by Philippe De Vosjoli
5.0 out of 5 stars Required Reading, Jan 6 2002
I had owned a copy of the original version of this book, and I have to say that this updated edition is even better. It's got some great information about breeding, disease and care that goes far beyond what the original contained, making it even more valuable than before. Like probably almost everyone else says, if you're only going to buy one book regarding the proper husbandry of boa constrictors, this is the book you should buy. It's so reasonably priced, there's no excuse not to.
