Odd Thomas and his ghost dog Boo are great characters. Odd Interlude is by no means a perfect book and seemed rushed at times but it was a very enjoyable read.

Odd finds himself sidetracked into a small family owned motel, gas station diner combo. Where Odd learns the residents of the community have a very dark secret and he believes he was drawn there to help them.

Odd Interlude is filled with drama, suspense more twists and turns that you can count on one hand and there are a lot of very unpredictable moments. The characters are likeable and sympathetic and there is plenty of humor throughout.

My only complaint is that I would have liked to see a more robust story. This is a novel written in a short story format which means that neither the plot nor characters get developed in any depth which left me wanting for a little more umph. A good book all the same give it a read!!

This is a small short book, almost like a long short story. In usual Dean Koontz fashion you can't see any way out until he provides it. The book is not well bound though and some of the pages started to fall out while I was reading.

This doesn't disappoint. Without spoiling anything this short interlude shoots off down a different path that I really didn't expect. It fit well into the story previous to this book

Odd is a character that I will always enjoy reading about. His adventures are unique as is his insights to his situations.

This book is a nice side trip with Odd. A bit predictable and mostly a short story to pass the time.

A good offering of Odd Thomas, who Dean Koontz now seems to be concentrating on as a primary character in his repatoire (sp?)
