An excellent source for first time investor

I am a college student who always wanted to start investing in the bank. I am always wondering how to start it and how much money I need to start investing. But one day I was browsing online then I saw Invest Now at Amazon.ca. I ordered it right away and was happy I found it. After reading it, I was relieved because it explains every detail about investments in a very simple way. My life has changed since then, now I have my own investments at local bank and think about my future. So for people who wants to start investing this book is an excellent source, this author made it very easy to understand and well- presented so why waste time, Invest Now.

If you've wanted to invest but had no clue where or how to start, this is your answer. It's tailor made for people who have no knowledge about investing and gets the ball rolling fast and effectively. You'll love the simplicity and every chapter is short and sweet. You can always come back to it to brush up on all the investment jargon (let's face it, there's a LOT); it'll serve as a great reference.

The two best features of this book: It's geared completely towards beginners. The author spends a lot of time driving this point home, but you really don't need to have financial knowledge to start investing. You can learn the basics from this book (or other sources), then broaden your knowledge as you go. This book is written for Canadians and focuses on investments from a Canadian perspective. If you've ever tried finding something like this at Chapters, you know how tough it can be.

Positives:
-A light read.
-Simple, straightforward explanations of financial products and markets.

Negatives:
-A light read (if you're looking for in-depth knowledge, move on).
