About the Author
Before becoming director of Ecotrust Canada, Ian Gill worked for CBC Television, where he won numerous awards for his documentary reporting, and was a senior reporter for the Vancouver Sun. He is the author of a previous Raincoast Journeys book, Hiking on the Edge. David Nunuk is a professional photographer who specializes in natural history and outdoor recreation. His books include Hiking on the Edge and Natural Light (Harbour 2003).
