This book is a wonderful collection of tried and true recipes collected from Canada and the United States. I purchase one issue (part of the 3) and have used it as my main source for successful meals. (It is my most worn and spattered book). It was recently that I decided to purchase the combined book. I have served many of the recipes to family and friends and have found everyone copying down recipes. From excellent seafood to fabulous vegitarian and multicultural dishes, this book is a treasure.

Don't judge this book by its dated cover, it's the only cookbook you'll ever need! I have purchased 7 in the past couple of years for shower gifts and one for my son-in-law (a deckhand). Everyone agrees this is a spectacular cookbook, soups and holiday recipes especially!

Wonderful, ageless recipes using all-natural ingredients. A step-up (in the quality of the meals) from "Company's Coming" (my other most-used cookbook) without losing the practicality. Highly recommended.
