I have heard the new Nancy Sinatra song Let Me Kiss You at the London concert and a recorded version played during a BBC radio show. For me it's not anything out of the ordinary and would not likely go very far commercially. For lightning to strike twice in Ms. Sinatra's career perhaps an updated 2004 new millenium version of Lightnings Girl or even These Boots Are Made For Walkin would be a better choice. Cheers.

Having heard the recorded version of LET ME KISS YOU, I can say I was blown away. The song is suited to Nancy to a T. You won't be disappointed with the purchase of this CD, nor will you be disappointed with the album (CD) that this is also on, the self titled NANCY SINATRA due to be released September 28. OUTSTANDING!

I heard this song 'live' when I went to see Nancy perform at the Royal Festival Hall in London, 20th June 2004.
I must say, I think the new song is fantastic, it's a lovely song and it deserves to be a hit.

Penned by Nancy's friend, Morrissey.
The new song "Let Me Kiss You" is also on Morrissey's new solo album, "You Are The Quarry."
Apparently, according to Morrissey himself, Nancy's version of the song is even better than his.

Nancy also performed the accompanying track, "Bossman," at the RFH concert in London.
Another really good song.

Both these new songs are to be included on Nancy's long awaited, highly anticipated, new studio album.... "To Nancy With Love," which is due to be released in August/September on Morrissey's ATTACK label, via Sanctuary Records and BMG..
The album will be a collection of songs by writers and singers who have said they were influenced by Nancy's music over the years.
The songs recorded and confirmed so far are the new single by Morrissey "Let Me Kiss You," Pete Yorn contributes "Don't Mean Nothin'," Jon Spencer (Blues Explosion) plays guitar and sings on "Ain't No Easy Way," a duet with Elvis Costello titled "Comin' Home Baby."
Also confirmed is a song written by U2's Bono and the Edge titled "Two Shots of Happy," which was originally written for Nancy's legendary father, Frank Sinatra. A beautiful song, which Nancy also performed to a fantastic audience at the Royal Festival Hall concert in London.

All the new songs including the lovely "Let Me Kiss You," are well suited to Nancy's fabulous voice, which in my opinion sounds even better today than in the '60s when Nancy's first big hit "These Boots Are Made For Walkin' " was released.

I saw Nancy Sinatra perform in London England recently. This experience was quite bittersweet, as the ravages of time were apparent musically speaking compared to when I saw her in 1971 in Las Vegas. Among a mix of old and new songs performed the old were clearly better. One of the new songs is called Let Me Kiss You. It's not especially catchy or good, sounding too busy and trying too hard to sound contemporary.
Overall I found Let Me Kiss You wanting along with the rest of the new ones. They are nowhere near the quality of her 60s music. Run of the mill faire.

I was also at the Royal Festival Hall concert in London. A night to remember. Unforgettable.
The new song "Let Me Kiss You" is tremendous.
Ignore the last "bad review", he/she does not know what they are talking about.
The new song is catchy, and is very good.
I hope it is a hit along with the new album.
Nancy is back!
Good luck to her.
