Album Description

Circus is the seventh album by Britney Spears. It rolls into town on the heels of an MTV VMA awards sweep, where Britney walked away with three Moonmen awards for 'Video of the Year', 'Best Female' and 'Best Pop Video' for 'Piece Of Me'. Circus is the follow up to her critically well received album, Blackout, just in in time for her 27th birthday. The lead single, 'Womanizer' (produced by the up and coming Atlanta production team The Outsyders) has already created a frenzy amongst Britney fantaics, radio and the media alike-underscoring Britney's continued reign as one of the Queens of Pop.

O.K. first of all, as a responce to the first review given... an album is not the sum of it's cover art!

Now for a real review... I am not a Britney fan, and had definately marked her for going, going, gone with her previous year spot light fall, But I am very pleased to say I think Britney is back and beter than I think I have ever heard her before! There a few bubble gum pop ballads I could do with out, but there are many more that out weigh those and are fun to bop your head to and sing along with, one of the most surprising songs on this album is 'Unusual You' It's quite beautiful and I can't seem to get enough of it.
A few others that get ya moving are 'Womanizer' 'Circus' 'Kill The Lights' 'Unusual You' & 'Radar' that's 1/2 the album, and for $13.99 it's not a bad deal! Unlike Like the latest PINK Funhouse album was! If you like POP and Britney this is a great album, if you just wanna give her a chance, I think this a great album to try out!

This is a great comeback album although its not any Emancipation of Mimi (Mariah Carey) it still puts her in the right path. Womanizer was a great opening to this album and the title track Circus is a great dance song. Unusual You has a very interesting beat and sound too it that I love. If U Seek Amy just speaks for itself! I love Lace and Leather its another great dance song. My Baby and Out From Under slow things down but are very beautiful and personal and I love it. Blur is an another great song that I love which anyone who has had a MASIVE HUGEOVER can relate. I pick up this album because I think its another great pop classic! :) BUY IT AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!

One of the the two best albums of Britney's career after Blackout, which was grossly underselling, due in part to her crazy antics of that year it was released. I pretty much had her done for ... but she's back (she never left!) Highly recommend buying the imports with the bonus tracks.
