I like this book. In essence, a guide to letting go of who I think I should be and embracing who I am, flaws and all. Well worth the time if you value insight and are looking to build greater self-esteem - compassion. Should be taught at school; as individuals and as a society we'd be the better for it.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Excellent closet light, Dec 31 2015

These lights are excellent. Needed more light in 2 closets; did not want to run wires, cut wall, etc... tried a few other stick on tap lights that just didn't come close to doing the job. These illuminate very well. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than other models but their performance is superior. 100 lumens, if you want to compare to other options. Takes 4 C cell batteries. Recommend and would buy again.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Excellent guide to Minecraft, Dec 31 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Excellent guide to Minecraft. Bought this for my 12 year old son who has been playing for over a year and learning as he goes. He loves it. Learning lots of things he didn't pick up on his own or from his friends. I read a few pages here and there through the book. Instructions are very well written and easy to follow. Also easy to find specific topics if a particular area of Minecraft is of interest. The price here is well below bookstore or other on-line prices. Recommended.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 A superb book for both sponsors and sponsees, Feb. 18 2011
I highly recommend this book for both sponsors and sponsees. Even someone with many years of experience will learn a lot about how to best work with a sponsee.

First half of the book talks about what sponsorship is about and also what it isn't. Gives very specific and direct answers to many questions about a healthy Sponsor/Sponsee relationship.

Second half of the book provides an excellent and detailed approach to working each of the 12 Steps. Suggested readings for the Sponsee on each step, suggested questions the Sponsee should answer on each step, both prior to meeting with their Sponsor and when meeting with their Sponsor. Also offers discussion of the suggested questions and excellent points for overcoming roadblocks.

Takes the mystery out of each the 12 steps. Very simple yet thorough and practical.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 very enjoyable and enlightening, Feb. 16 2011
as the author says, "much of what you think you know is not quite what it seems". Excellent read on how our thinking (perception) of ourselves, the world and ourselves in the world often does not equate with reality.
