The best of the bosch, May 24 2004
Its difficult to compare Michael Connelly's books because I don't know how anyone can read one and then not immediately want to read everything that he has ever written like I have. But if you are new to the series I would say start with this one or Angels Flight. The Last Coyote is a great mystery story with great characters. Harry Bosch has been suspended from the LAPD pending a psychiatric evaluation for throwing his supervisor through a plate glass window. He uses his time off to solve the mystery that has haunted him his whole life, the murder of his own mother in 1961 Los Angeles. He digs up the police report and soon discovers that it was not quite as thorough as it should have been. It is a great book.

Perfect mix of suspense and courtroom drama, May 5 2004
I have read many many thriller novels and for some reason have only recently discovered Connelly who is the Grand Master. Concrete Blonde is one of the best Bosch books and I recomend ot anyone to start with "Black Echo" and read each one in chronological order. I love so many things about this book and about the whole Bosch series!!

How much is enough?, Jan 3 2004
This is John Grishams best book in a long time. It is not his typical legal thriller. But rather a light and free flowing story of someone who literally stumbles into millions in mass tort settlements. It teaches a good lesson.

Not quite up to par, Dec 24 2003
James Patterson books are very entertaining trash that is fun and quick to read. Of all the Alex Cross books, this one is probably the worst. Still it is entertaining and the Russian Mafia stuff is pretty cool.

The Greatest Album in the history of popular Music, Aug 29 2003
When I first heard "Where the Streets have no Name" I was absolutely floored. This is the greatest song ever written and is just the beginning of the best CD ever. Neither U2 nor any other band has ever or will ever record a better album. Every song is a classic and every song ranks as one of the best ever. Listen to Bono Screaming out the lyrics to "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" I have heard it thousands of times and never ceased to be amazed at this and the 11 classic songs on this greatest album that has ever been produced.

Stunningly Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, July 21 2003
Angels and Demons was one of the most interesting thrillers that I have ever read. Being in Rome as I was a few years ago made the book even better. I recommend it to anyone who loves history and thriller novels. There are so many interesting facts in here, like the origin of the weird pyramid eye on the dollar bill, the space plane, the Vatican conclave ceremony, etc.

Journey through Vietnam, July 12 2003
I love the 1st person narrative style of this book and the two main characters are awesome. We take this journey right along with Brenner, and there is never a dull moment. Nelson Demille is a great writer and this is one his best books.

Plum Island Animal Disease Research center..sounds charming, Jun 30 2003
Plum Island for me ranks as one of the best books in the Genre, and it is the kind of book I love to read. It takes place in a great setting being the far tip of Long Island, and gets into what is going on at Plum Island and the history of Pirates in the reigon. John Corey is our guide through this story which is interesting from the first sentence to the last.
