Extremely poorly written. In dire need of editing. Repetitive. Too many remedial errors. Don't buy it.

Try to buy a cable like this from another retailer. I bought it standing outside a big box store where they had nothing like it.

I had another Trudeau, which is why I bought this. This one isn't as flexible or as versatile.

My cats are mad for this thing. It's one of the few toys they don't destroy in minutes. They wait by the closet for this thing to come out. So cute.

Brilliant fan. Minimalist, all metal Zen design. Quiet. Moves a fair bit of air. Good selection of speeds. Versatile stand design. Time will tell if it lasts. It hits all the sweet spots of design, price, functionality. I'd buy another one.

3.0 étoiles sur 5 Good but lots of unnecessary obfuscation, Feb. 8 2014

Ce commentaire est de: Programming iOS 7 (Paperback)
I've been reading Neuburg since v5 of this book. There is actually a shortage of good books out there on iOS. I find this book quite useful in places. Although my dominant sentiment is that the book suffers from a deep lack of clarity. Many matters discussed in this book could profit from a serious copy editor who might just go through and demand obfuscation be made clear. All you have to do is put this book through a Text To Speech app to see exactly what I mean. It sounds like a muddle. Just let the program speak the book and you will see precisely what I mean. Many of the code samples use very annoyingly truncated variable names, like d or s! I know, it's short scope, but try reading this out loud. It's terrible. Mostly though I think Matt struggles to express himself with precision and in a way that is kind to the reader. He forces the reader to mull over passages for they are simply not clear. He gives you just enough clarity to pull you in. But I find myself reading sentences and paragraphs repeatedly to try to figure out what exactly he means. I realize I'm not giving any concrete examples here. I will update this post with some concrete examples as soon as I get a change to have another look at the book. I would nevertheless recommend the book if you're scared of Apple's docs. However, the official docs are written with such brilliance that it's best to wean yourself off 3rd party interpretations asap. This book's intention is to provide the stepping stone to reliance on the docs. I'm not sure it succeeds.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 I have a mouse fetish, Nov. 24 2013
Achat vérifié(Quest-ce que cest?)
I've bought so many mice. My most recent mouse was the Microsoft Wheel, which is famous. But alas I really wanted wireless. I've owned the Revolution. It's very highly rated. But the battery life sucks. Anyhow, after much pondering and reading reviews, etc. I went for the m510. It's not as responsive as the Revolution, or my old wired Microsoft. But I think it's a great mouse nevertheless for writers or coders. I've always found the drivers for Logitech to be totally dreadful. So, I simply use Steermouse, which makes the mouse much more responsive if setup correctly. Anyhow, I decided to go with one battery since I prefer the weight. Obviously this is not an old school M$ wheel. The workmanship is pretty flimsy, but overall I think for a wireless mouse in the sub $100 mark with some back and forth buttons, it's pretty much the best thing around from what I can tell.
