5.0 étoiles sur 5 perfect accessory kit for my X100, Jan 22 2013
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
i had read about this accessory kit as a great and much more affordable alternative to the much pricier kit available from Fujifilm on a number of online forums and was a bit discouraged when i thought i would not be able to order it in Canada... until i found it on amazon.ca.

my only complaint, which is so minor i still gave it a 5 star review anyway, is that the shipping took abit longer than expected but then again it did come from the US so that is to be expected. also, it was very well packaged.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 a truly great book, Jan 5 2009
This review is from: A Complicated Kindness (Paperback)
I consumed this book over the course of a few days. It was easy to read and I particularly enjoyed the casual writing style, the lack of use of parentheses to denote dialogue. It made it "easy" to get into Nomi's character.

My dad's side of the family is from a Mennonite background and having little connection to it growing up I appreciated the introduction, albeit quite cynical and negative at times. However, anyone who grew up in a small town on the prairies will find the story hits close to home. I certainly felt nostalgia for my own teenage years growing up in a tiny town.

I will read it again and other novels by this author.

the storytelling is fantastic - but i was in the end quite disappointed as i had hoped the actual story to be richer. i suppose i just did not understand the characters. good for a quick read but do not expect it to change your life.
