I've Never Felt Worse Coming Out of a Movie, July 15 2004
This is not happy ending kids, this is by far the most agonizing, frustrated, confused, and worst I've felt after viewing a film. That's why it's so brilliant. It makes no apologies, and doesn't cover up or sugar coat the reality of life. The performances are first-rate, top-notch hitters. Every actor involved gave the performace of their careers. Penn and Robbins earned their Oscars with the dept and truth they brought to their characters. Eastwood is a master at filmaking, and this is definitely a masterpiece. If you want a hard hitting, no prisoners drama, then this is absoultly your movie. I highly recommend this film and DVD.

Charming Girl With Inspiring Virtues, July 1 2004
Stacie's "Stacie Orrico" is charmer in every way. Her soft and succulent vocals are refreshing and sweet, and she truly tries to bring justifiable messages across in her music. She uses words to potently get her views across, and hot club funky beats to allure the listeners who wouldn't usually find this music appealing. One of the most inspiring and uplifting songs that I've heard in a long time resides in this album. "Strong Enough" is accompanied by just a mere piano, but is a soft and delicate flower of a song that hits your spiritual heart in its emotional core. This song alone brought my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. The sophomore slump didn't slow her down at all.

This Is My Confession, Jun 30 2004
My confession about this album is that it is, without a doubt, Usher's best yet. Soulful and matured vocals, matched with insightful lyrics reveal the human side of Usher and his life. The lead single "Yeah!" is a ass-kicking monster of a song, with a hype beat and an extraordinarily catchy chorus; this song could possibly be his masterpiece. Other worthy tracks include "Burn" and "Confessions II", which in both he sings about torn and lost loves. Bringing back the flava is great songs like "Bad Girls", "Caught Up", and "That's What It's Made For". All in all, this is an impressive album that exceeded all my expectations. Lets hope that he can keep up the marvelous work.

Time To Rock Out, Jun 19 2004
N*E*R*D succeeds in their goal to mix rock with hip-hop, and makes one of the years most original albums. The outrageous dance track "She Wants To Move" is pure adrenaline, while "Wondeful Place" accomplishes to soften the mood of the record. I can still see plenty of room for growth from the N*E*R*D crew, but this is a fine effort. "Maybe", which features Lenny Kravitz, is my favorite song from the album. If your into either hip-hop or rock, this is your album.

What Fun!!!, Jun 19 2004
This album does exactly what it sets out to do, make us have a great time while listening. With a very innovative sound, and a exceedingly charismatic lead vocalist, Maroon 5 is just a purely enjoyable band. The irresistabe "This Love", and catchy "Harder To Breathe" make this one killer record. Other worthy tracks like "Tangled", "Secret", "Sweetest Goodbye", and "She Will Be Loved" vastly increase the albums likeability . The best cut in my opinion is the charming "Sunday Morning", which has an alluringly sweet sound that you would love to play on a...well Sunday Morning. This is a fun record to add to your collection, and I highly recommend it.

Soft, Yet Extremely Powerful, Jun 19 2004
I am so in love with this album, from start to finish it grabs you and never lets go. This is a album that I use to enter full and utter musical bliss, it is so calming and moving. When I listen to the music, that mesmerizing and enchanting music, I just cry from the beauty it. Everything works, from the lyrics, to the singing, to the production it is a masterpiece of music. Damien Rice has forever placed a spot for his music in my heart.

Interesting & Promising Artist, Jun 18 2004
The one thing about this album that I rarely do with others, is that I listened to the lyrics the first time I listened to the song. Toby has a gifted way in phrasing her thoughts and feelings. This, and the fact that she has one of the most interesting voices from a young artist out today, is why Toby is so intriguing. "Coming Back In", "Everyday", and "Devils and Angels" forces you to listen and feel her emotions through the song. My particular favorite is "Front Row", where she is singing about someone who is flirting with her during a show. All songs included , Toby Lightman is an artist to watch and I hope that people will embrace her as I did.

Long & Behold, The New Whitney Has Arrived, Jun 18 2004
Though this debut isn't the greatest, Tamyra's vocals soars. You get the sense of someone who is new to the business, but who will, with time, evolve into one of our most cherished artist. Songs such as the opening track "Star", and "Raindrops Will Fall" are testaments to her talent as a singer and songwriter. The key track is the final cut, "God Bless The Dreamer", which showcases amazing vocal talent that that brings to mind a fresh and young Whitney. This album has many small pleasures, and also makes us remember why we were all so outraged that Tamyra didn't win the first season of American Idol.

Brilliant! A Miracle Indeed! Absolutely Breathtaking!, Jun 14 2004
I've always known who Madonna was (flashy, controversial, famous for being famous), but I never understood why. I'm 18 and I was curious about this so-called "Pop Icon", so I purchased this CD. I was astounded. After so many years of being a famous face, we tend to forget why a person becomes famous in the first place (Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson), we forget their genius. After listening to this album, I finally realized why this woman is so loved and idolized, she is truly deserving of all her hype. Her songs are just pop perfection. They are everything pop music "MUST" be, and have become individual anthems. The title, first of all, is the perfect title for this album simply because you begin to realize, as you listen, that this woman is a gift to the art of music from heaven above. Songs like "Holiday", "Cherish", "Into The Groove", and "Like A Prayer" are pure treasures. All the songs are treasures that should always be remembered. For the first time in my entire life of being a music listener, I can't decide on a favorite song from an individual artist. They are "all" that good. If you love pop, and divas, or if you're a music listener in general (no matter what genre you listen to) this is one album to have in your collection. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Christina Has Done It!!!, Nov 1 2002
Christina Aguilera has returned more powerful than ever with this fantastic album. This album goes so much deeper than the first single "Dirrty", beyond the hot and heavy grinding of that song, the others have a mature view on life. Christina's ability to use her voice with so many different styles of music is amazing to me. Soul, R&B, Rock, and Pop are all included on this record. There have been so many artist that have tried to master this technique and failed. But It's Christina's heavenly voice that lets her accomplish this nearly impossible task. "Beautiful" in particular is a song that not only shows her extrodinary range, but has an great message too. "Impossible" is a song full of heart and soul, while "I'm Ok" is a deep look into her painful past. This has been the first record where I've listened every song without stopping or skipping tracks in years. Christina has really out done herself this time, and has proven that she truly is the best singer out.
