5.0 étoiles sur 5 A classic that hasn't gone out of date, Nov. 23 2011
There's a reason this book is a classic. The principles in it are timeless, sane, and really work. I keep going over it again and again to really "get it" and refer back to it whenever I need to. Definitely recommended to anyone who struggles with issues of codependency and control.

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Incredibly insightful and helpful, Nov. 23 2011
This review is from: Love Is A Choice (Paperback)
I found this book to be incredibly insightful and helpful in bringing me to an understanding of the dynamics that were underlying my behaviour and destroying my relationships. I worked through the book and the exercises it gave and continue to do so as needed. It brought insight that has truly helped set me free. I keep going back to its principles whenever things crop up in my life. As a Christian I appreciate the fact that it is written from a Christian perspective, however, it is not "preachy" and it would be tremendously useful to anyone regardless of their beliefs. The principles and the truth are the same no matter what your "system" might be!

5.0 étoiles sur 5 Great small-size personal Bible, Sept. 4 2009
I bought this Bible after reading a friend's. It's a great size and feel, small and slim but not with text that's too tiny to read. The leather cover looks and feels nice. I particularly appreciate the way it's laid out, with one column of text that is broken into paragraphs and cross-references on the inside margins where they're not too conspicuous but easy to find when you want them. I also like the fact that it's all printed in black; Jesus' words are not in red as is traditional for Bibles.

The only thing I have been disappointed with that bits of some letters are missing; the printing process seems not to have been too careful. I don't recall noticing that with my friend's bible so perhaps it was just this print run.
