Jonny Bowden has written what I can best describe as the perfect blue print of healthy eating. His knowledge and writing style are second to none, and I have recommended this book to several people who all love it. This book is great for anyone interested in nutrition or healthy eating. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
Kook was a fun and enjoyable read and I am definitely happy I picked it up. It kept me entertained, and although sometimes I found that the author's writing style got a little overly descriptive for nothing, I would definitely recommend it.
I really enjoyed the book although it was not what I expected. I thought it would be a little more like an autobiography, but instead its more of a "coffee table" book. Interesting points, but very abreviated. There are interesting sections on nutrition and workouts, and as well just on life lessons/positive attitudes/philosophies that do make you reflect.
So all in all, a good book if you know ahead of time that its on the lighter side.
