I found this book utterly amazing. The characters, which there are many, are rich and dynamic! The main plot of the book takes a little while to get off the ground, but the background information is necessary in order to properly understand what exactly it going on in the book. Lisbeth is an amazing character, with many, many different facets. The story line keeps you totally engrossed and actually wondering what is going on, wanting to solve the mystery right there with them.

There is much talk about this book and it certainly lives up to my expectations. Just remember, once you get past the beginning with the background information, the book roars away at a fast pace.

This recipe book is amazing! There are over 300 recipes in it and they are healthy and clearly laid out. What's more, is that there are side bars filled with information on diet pop, red wine, and trivia tidbits. The names of the recipes are good for a chuckle too! "Smackaroni & cheese", Celine Dijon Chicken, Forrest Gumbo, Life in the Fast Lion are just a few!

I found that this movie followed the book better then some of the previous movies. There are many details included in the movie that are in the story. Overall, the movie is enjoyable. I did feel that more emphasis on the middle of the book was needed, rather then focusing so much on the end. The ending of the movie was sad and you can feel the emotion of the whole series ending. While, I felt the "20 years later" part of the movie at the end was a bit silly in that the characters really didn't look 20 years older, it did not detract from the whole movie. It was a fantastic way to end the Harry Potter series.

I did enjoy reading this book. It was humorous at times and also serious at times. I found the author was insightful and had knowledge of what it feels like to be single. The one things I gained most from this book is that, we really only feel that panic because what what society "says" must occur.

Assessment for learning has recently become popular in many schools. Before reading this book, I had a very basic idea of what it was and how I could implement it in my classroom. After reading this book, I feel confident in bringing assessment for learning into my classroom. This method will benefit the students in so many ways. There are great templates in the back of the book and throughout this book, there are examples to read of the assessment strategies in practice!

This book has 25 cute apron patterns! Some patterns are your typical full or half apron, but the majority of them have unique and cute designs! All the templates are in the back, and can easily be taken to a copy center and enlarged (It's best to enlarge them at a place that has paper larger then 11 x 17). For the most part the instructions are easy to follow, but some basic sewing knowledge is assumed. A few more diagrams to aid in putting the aprons together would make this book stellar. Nevertheless, the aprons in this book are pretty and you will wanted to be wearing them out and about, not just for cooking!

This book is amazing. Ian and Sally Wilson have embarked on a great adventure - traveling to "gold country" like the pioneers did years ago during the gold rush. The book is filled with information about the gold rush, particularly the history of the trails, but it is not dry. It is witty and enjoyable which kept me turning page after page late into the night!

These books are written beautifully by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I was enchanted with them when I was young and now as an adult I am still amazed. The books provide such insight into pioneer life in the late 1800's. The way Laura writes, makes you feel as if you are right there with her experiencing what she is. If you haven't read them yet, go for it! You won't be disappointed!!

As with many movie adaptations from books, this one also left out details I felt were important as well, added in new ones. The scene in the movie when Doon and Lina find the canoes is TOTALLY different in the book. It is a shame with such a fabulous story line, the producer(s) of the movie missed important details that made the book so special.

I really like this book. I have looked at a number of different vegetarian cookbooks and have found this one to be one of my favorites. At the beginning of the book there is a section that lists fruits and veggies. It gives you information about each one, the benefits and nutrients. After this section is the recipes.

I have tried just a few recipes and they have turned out very well! What I liked is there are substitutions you can make, such as adding legumes to a certain recipe for protein.

I highly recommend it!
