A friend recommended this book to me and the only thing she told me was that the cover was a bad choice for this book. So, I had no idea what I was about to read. I highly recommend this as it has a different style and definitely had some very interesting things to say.
At points I thought it was a little heavy handed, that is, that the characters were a little one dimensional and didn't appear to have any redeeming qualities. But, that was the only issue I had with the book.
I should never listen to people that recommend a book that they have never read. This book is so boring. Yes, the history is interesting, but this isn't a history book, it's a fictional book. The premise is interesting, but poorly written. I do want to know what happens so I will finish it, but I wish I had never started it.
I had forgotten how much I loved this show. The second season definitely had a lot going for it. The relationship between Max and Liz was great. But, it made me sad to remember that there is only one more season after this one.
I am disappointed in the extra features. Very few commentaries, and the ones that are included do not have any of the actors. Jason and Shiri are the what made this series so excellent, it would have been nice to hear their thoughts on some of the episodes. Of course, in the special features, there is some of Jason talking about being Future Max.
I had waited to buy this DVD and I am so glad I finally purchased it. I can't wait for the third season. It's too bad that will be the end.
