The Perpetual Papers of the Pack of Pets by Stanley And Katrina

The stage is set when Katrina von Cat the Master of Wisdom and Knowledge is fed up with "dog" (whose name, Stanley, she finally discovers after three years of living under the same roof) who is eating her food. Through a series of hilarious letters sent back and forth between Katrina and Stanley, and punctuated by the voice of a narrator who provides play-by-play action of the misdeeds of the cat and the dog, the reader is entertained by the roller coast ride that is the love/hate relationship between the two. My daughter (10) and I read and reviewed this book for Mother Daughter Book Reviews. Here's what we have to say:

DAUGHTER SAYS:

This book is about four kids who have to defeat four fiends who have kidnapped the four guardians of the world. They use the magic objects given to them by the Golden Dragon to defeat them.

The cover was interesting and as for the pictures right before the chapters, some were ok but some were a little weird.
The main characters are a boy named Pietro from Italy; another boy named Saboru from Japan; Kate, a girl from America; and Jinjing, a girl from Hong Kong. My favorite character is Kate because shes interesting and… Read more
