Build a Better Photograph: A Disciplined Approach &hellip by Michael E. Stern
Really a collection of annecdotes from the authors past experience as a very successful commercial photographer. Works well in passing on information based on this experience but doesn't really flow particularly well. I dont regret havig bought this - but might not be so keen to buy it again.
Processing for Visual Artists: How to Create Expre&hellip by Andrew Glassner
Really liked the style here. Non intimidating and very clear introduction to how to use a computer to create visual effects. I'd recommend to anyone with a pure arts background who wanted to come into the topic.

Only reason I dont give it a 5 is that if you have already done some programming then the explanations may be a bit long winded.

2.0 out of 5 stars Just didn't get it., Feb 9 2011
I just didn't get the point of this book. It rambles and never seems to either reach an end point of have a coherant objective. More like a set of random musings.
