So-Called Chaos ~ Alanis Morissette
So-Called Chaos ~ Alanis Morissette
3.0 out of 5 stars The Same Old Song, July 12 2004
Two years after Under Rug Swept Alanis is back with her new work So Called Chaos.
I was really excited when i heard the first single Everything but... hey!
I don't know why but all the songs feels just like i've hearded them a thousand times before!
They're not bad, absolutely, in fact Everything is very listenable and full of emotions.
Out Is Trough is also a good song, as spineless, this grudge and the title track, but they all are too similar to old alanis work. There's no "really" new material, only revisitations of old songs!

Something to Remember ~ Madonna
After the "not so succesful"(but intelligent) Erotica it was time to turn back to "not sex-related" music. Bedtime Stories was the first step, then the second is "something to remember"
STR is a collection of old madonna ballads plus some new material.
The old material is placed correctly to keep old fans, then the new to take some new...and it works! (STR sold more than BS and erotica)
The overall result is an album that sounds really simple and good, really listenable and enjoyable.
The collaboration between Madonna and Massive Attack (I Want You) it's one of the best madonna tracks.
Other Highlights include "You'll see" , "I'll remember" (the first time on an… Read more
Bare ~ Annie Lennox
Bare ~ Annie Lennox
5.0 out of 5 stars Annie's soul undressed, July 9 2004
After 8 years with no new material this 50 year old woman give us the best album of her career.
Bare is a beautiful emotional ride through her feelings.
The musical style has quite changed from medusa showing a more mature sound.
All the songs are really intense. "a thousand beautiful things" and "the hurting time" stand out.
All the others are simply beautiful.
It's a shame that no commercial singles have been released.
Just buy the album, it's really beautiful!
