In My Own Words:
Hi I am a stand-up comic performing in Toronto/Niagara Falls Ontario area. Outside of that I am a huge fan of cosmic/old electronic/psychedelic/space rock/sixties music and crazy old B Monster sci-fi movies. I have been collecting for over two decades and am well versed in said stuff. You can trust me- I know the difference between amazing stuff and utter crap.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad stuff... but!, Jun 30 2004
As the final Godzilla film in the original series its at least a decent outing. Some people have said this isn't as good as the previous film GodZ vs. MechagodZ!!?? I must say they are either totally blind or they love the REALLY awful Godzilla stuff. This film is at last an "adult" film with a serious plot and a serious attempt to make a decent film. The last one with King Seesar (the STUPIDEST monster yet!!) is just an AWFUL Ultraman piece of trash. This time they edit that film down not unlike the first Mad Max film was edited down to a few moments in the beginning of the Road Warrior (mercifully removing King Stupid) and tightening up the whole plot. Several campy laugh out… Read more
Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters Al&hellip DVD ~ Chiharu Niiyama
Forget radioactive monsters. Forget every movie up to this point. Now we have all the angry war dead spirits from WW2 going into Godzilla and he looking like a fat blind aligator (with a beer belly) attacking Tokyo! Oh no! Now Baragon, Mothera and Ghidra are spirits awoken by a weird old man and different groups of uncarring idiots (who get theirs) and the battle begins to stop the possessed Godzilla. Special effects are the best I've seen in these recent movies- REALLY GOOD- but the story...... What ever happened to monster island and radioactive beasties wasn't that hard enough to swallow??

One of the latest in the G series has some connections to past mostly around Godzilla attacks. It has a great story lots of ideas and fun characters BUT the effects wildly range from good to AWFUL! What happened!? If you compare the effects in this movie to G Vs. Meccha G the effects in that movie blow this one out of the water. There are wires on Magagurius!? Its 2004 people! EVEN THE 1964 FILMS had better effects than that. And Godzilla himself.. he's lifeless and dull. His face and movements are terrible.. no no. If you are going to spend all this money and time do it right!!!! But for story and characters and the odd good effects and there are a few I gave this movie probably more stars… Read more
