A Bend in the Road moved me as most of Nicholas Sparks books do. I was draw into the loss and sorrow of the main character and understood his fear of commitment, but enjoyed the unfolding of the story of love and loss and new love found and the risk he decided to take.
I read the Christmas Box trilogy and just felt there was something magical in this story and the writing. After reading The Christmas Box Miracle, I understood the spiritual forces of healing and guidance the author received. As soon as I was done with both books, I boxed them up with a purple ribbon around both books because they were so special and sent them to my sister in Texas.
