The Orthodox Study Bible: Ancient Christianity Spe&hellip by Thomas Nelson
A definite required book to have if you're an Orthodox Christian. someone comlained about the thin pages, but that's pretty much standard with most bibles that i've seen,

The foot notes and sidebars in them help to better understand certain passages or clarify things. Though I find some of they're points and conclusions a little far fetch; trying to read too much in some things. Like Freuds says "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".

But that's my opinion. The notes are their to help us better understand God's teachings but sttill room to interprete what it means to us.

My kid likes this book of the big colourful things inside. Though they should keep certain things simple. E.g., just say Blue instead of blue ball.

IMHO, I felt this book lacking in what I was looking for in what it means to be an Orthodox Christian. It's just a priest giving 'his' spiritual view on the things that didn't really lead to anything.
