It was enlightening to see how some of the most common goals of independence directly link to the Essential Skills of Reading Text, Document Use and Numeracy. I also appreciated the acknowledgment of the need of critical soft skills in order for adult learners to successfully achieve these common goals that many of us take for granted.
I love the warning that prefaces this guide and as it cautions, I will proceed with abandon as I work to develop a marketing plan that will work for my organization. I plan to focus on relationship marketing and social marketing and this guide provides me with the tools to do that!
This manual was very useful in helping me to plan for developing more effective online content in training sessions and to better understand my role as an online facilitator. Online learning is where it's at with today's population. It bridges not only the distance but many other challenges as well such of time and cost. I will use this resource for a long time to come!
