5.0 out of 5 stars In Need Of Medication, July 2 2007
I just listend to this on Matthew Good's website. This bloke never puts out a bad album and this is fantastic. I don't know if this is the greatest album ever as the other reviewer stated, as "Avalanche" holds that mantle, but this is right up there. It may be like "The Audio Of Being" and take a couple if listens to really seep into the psyche, but on one listening I didn't hear a dud track.

Another gem from one of the greatest artists in modern recording.

Cheers

5.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting stuff, Sep 25 2005
This is the yardstick by which all greatest hits albums should be measured. Some may disagree with the track selection, and to me leaving stuff off "The Audio Of Being" from this album is a mistake, but this is a great compilation.

As an Australian out here in the antipodes, the DVD is the thing that makes this outstanding. Matt Good videos do not get played out here, and his songs don't for that matter, but too see the development of the visual form of his songs is fascinating.

I would recommend this to any person with an interest in Matthew Good's career.

I bought this after a trip to Canada in 1994 and it, more than any other album, and "Hasn't Hit Me Yet", more than any other song reminds me of my family and friends in that great land.

It gets five stars just for that, but in reality it is just a tremendously enjoyable album running through rock and ballads effortlessly and smoothly.

Excellent songs, great playing and singing from a fine Canadian band. Cheers!!
