I have been and Amazon reviewer since 1999, when I used to spend my lunch breaks at my school's magnificent library...I’m a total book lover; it eclipses all other hobbies, mainly of the horror genre that embraces all the things that make one sleep with their back to the wall. Horror is a lush terrain where the unimaginable happens with furiou… Read more

Body of Evidence by Patricia Cornwell
Body of Evidence by Patricia Cornwell
5.0 out of 5 stars Scarpetta rules~, June 10 2004
This book, really went into nice character development. By the middle of it, I felt like Beryl Madison, the first victim, was a real person, and I too wanted to know how she died, why and who did it.
I had a very hard time putting it down, when it was 4am, its a page turner. The evidence and clues are amazing, and they really make u think.
Overall, an excellnt medical thriller mystery....And despite what anyone says, I like Scarpetta, shes not harsh or feministic. She's just perfect.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good book, really, June 10 2004
I dont know what's all the bad rap about this book, as I've seen in a few reviews below. It's a solid Cornwell novel. And please, as much as I love medicine and pathology novels, it's nice to see the Medical examiner snoop around, and do stuff, rather than sit in the lab all day.
I wish the ending was longer, because the whole story was pretty heavy duty. I like to see the whole action unfold even more.
Overall, another great read, dont miss it. Not to give things away, but the murderer isn't caugh on pure luck, as someone said below. All the investigating pays off, and I enjoyed the moment ( at the end) when I figured out who it was.
Cube 2: Hypercube [Import] DVD ~ Kari Matchett
Cube 2: Hypercube [Import] DVD ~ Kari Matchett
I have to admit, that I have liked the first Cube more, this one was still a fun/weird movie to watch. It's just a completly different movie genre than many people are used to.
A survivor, lost people story that isn't happening in the woods but in a game/trap world. This Cube is much more advanced, with mostly CG effects that are the killing traps, and it gets confusing when the gravity, time and dimentions collapse into one another.
I didnt mind the ending really, I dont always need all the answers on a silver platter in order to enjoy a movie. It's not just about the end, it's about everything you experience watching it.
Overall, this is more modern, fast and graphic, the… Read more
