This is what you call a small all in one package. You get a Lamp,iPod Speaker,iPod Charger all in 1.Dont let the size fool you...The sound on this item is great!!

Purchased this for daughter to use in a college dorm. Sound quality is about what you'd expect for the price, not bad but not concert hall. Similar unit available for sale at Target retail stores would not accept her 4th generation Ipod, this unit works fine with it. The blue inner lamp shade is almost opaque, so no glare.
