She was the Toronto correspondent for the television program The Canadian Gardener and CBC Radio's Metro Morning's gardening correspondent. She has also appeared on Harrowsmith Country Life.

This is the best book you can buy for native perrennial plants in ontario. They are all illustrated and with lots of information to give you the confidence to start native planting. I can tell you from experience that these plants do attract more wildlife!

I have found this little book an invaluable reference over the past two years. It is easy to read, the photos are clear, and she gives you just the right amount of information to be inspired and get planting. There are actually many more than the 101 plants in the title, which you'll find in her companion plant section. Recommended.

This book is excellent for new and experienced gardeners who want to plant with native plants. It is well illustrated with photographs and contains extensive information on all 101 plants( She throws in one extra). I have used many of these plants in my garden with great success and I hope you will try them too. They look great, are low maintenance and attract wildlife- birds bees butterflies and even deer. Improve your garden and help maintain the planet's diversity. It's win-win.
