A true delight to behold!, Aug 27 1999
By Sharon Galligar Chance - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The overnight groom (Paperback)
Elizabeth Sinclair has delivered a wonderful romance in her latest release, "The Overnight Groom." This delightful tale is fun, heartwarming and, at times, downright moving. While her main characters of Grant and Katie shine, it's Sinclair's secondary cast that keeps the action fun and moving. Harriet, the goodhearted boss' wife and Lizzie, Katie's eccentric mother, are adorable meddlers. As true love conquers all, "The Overnight Groom" is a true delight to behold.

An unusual twist on much loved storyline, Aug 12 1999

I read this book in one sitting. The characters were wonderful, especially the heroine's mother, Lizzie. We all should have a mother like her! She gives us great insight to what motivates a woman to marry and divorce many times. Elizabeth Sinclair, with her usual style and grace, tapped into a second-chance story and then twisted it all up beautifully. The outcome was a really enjoyable read--and a hope that she brings Lizzie back in another book!!!

Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant jump off the pages, Aug 8 1999

Grant and Katie ARE Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn. The repartee is sparkling. The timing and pacing is brilliant. Remember THE PHILADELPHIA STORY with Kate and Cary? The same fast-paced romantic comedy style. A must read!
