I'd recommend it!, April 15 2012
This review is from: Sin And Sensibility (Mass Market Paperback)
I thought this book was great. The characters fit well together, not the best I've ever read, but a relaxing read. I think Nell's protest against her overbearing brothers is legit, but at the same time I think the arrangement she made with them was a little too easy. I can't see any brother going from never letting his sister out of his sight to giving her free reign. I think Enoch did a great job developing her characters, showing each of their individual personalities. Good read, I'd definitely recommend it.

The Worst Enouch Book, Mar 12 2005
By A Customer
This review is from: Sin And Sensibility (Mass Market Paperback)
I am a big Suzanne Enouch fan. I've read everything she's written up to now and I've always eagerly awaited her next publication. Which is why this book was such a dissapointment. The characters are very one dimensional and the whole story just made me sit there and say "Who cares about these people or this plot?" There is nothing in the story that is at all captivating. The plot moves at a snail's pace. This book comes across as something the author had to write just so that there is another book out there bearing her name on the cover. Usually her description of the characters and their lovemaking comes across as romantic. This latest attempt is peppered with unnecessary swearing. I only finished this book because I like to finish what I start but reading it was an exercise in patience. I can only hope Suzanne Enouch's next attempt is far better than this. If not she's lost a loyal reader in me.
