Author Catherine Crier has done a wonderful job in this book by adding an assortment of details and little known facts concerning this case that riveted the country for months. The reader is presented with the case in a easy to follow method and the writing is highly entertaining. There is a significant amount of information provided, and new information including transcripts of conversations and facts that the jury did not hear. If you have followed this case at all, this is "a must read." If you have not followed the case then this is the book that covers it all. A real work of authority on all facets of the case. Very highly recommended!

It's not a bad read, but it is written very casually and subjectively. The author occasionally interjects her opinions and doesn't let the reader reach their own conclusions. I hope hoping for more analysis of evidence from an expert point of view but this is more the ramblings of an internet blogger than any kind of concrete analysis.

Other, kindle edition is absolutely riddled with bizarre typos. There's a typo at least once every two pages.

This book by Catherine Crier is extremely well written. Easy for readers to follow with lots of details. It takes into consideration the feeling of the family and how the loss of their daughter and grandson effected them. A must read for anyone who suspects a person of the same ilk as Scott Peterson is involved in their family.

I read this book as soon as it came out in an attempt to understand why a man could do such a thing to his wife and 8 month unborn child.
The book helped me deal with the horrific circumstances and what we saw on the news. Even though I don't know these people at all I was very affected by what he did.

I bought this book for my wife as she likes reading about actual crimes. She found it to be one of the better accounts and has recommended it to a number of friends.
