This review is from: A Series Of Unfortunate Events: The Notorious Notations (Hardcover)
The publisher's summary of the Notorious Notations does not make it clear that this book is nothing more than a glorified notebook. Rather than being filled with Lemony Snicket's notations (which are far more witty than anything I could write), the book contains 176 lined pages on which the owner can make his or her own notations. The "unsettling quotations" are there, but the "shocking illustrations" are greyscale watermarks, with no more detail than you find in the Series of Unfortunate Events books. Not recommended.
