"Bad Things" was my first Michael Marshall novel. I enjoyed this book; I thought the author did a great job of pacing this novel, giving the reader just enough to make you want to turn the page. The main character, John Henderson, is dealing with life after the death of his son: although some of the secondary characters are a little transparent, Marshall makes up for that with a great job building Henderson's personality. The novel has suspense and mystery, with a thread of supernatural running through it. It was a great way to spend a rainy weekend.
