3.0 out of 5 stars The Thunder Of Silence:
This was the book that introduced me to Joel S. Goldsmith. I have studied spiritualism, mysticism, yoga, etc, since 1972, yet I had never come across his name. After reading this book I knew I had finally found someone who could explain this world and the next in terms I could understand. The most amazing aspect is his assertion that every evil comes from our belief in...

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Book, Jan 18 2004

This review is from: Thunder Of Silence (Paperback)
This is one of my favorite Infinite Way books. After Living the Infinite Way, Practicing the Presence and The Infinite Way this is one of the most important books for students new to this message. Words are inadequate to describe the beauty and truth within these pages. I invite you to experience the eloquence.

4.0 out of 5 stars Deep, Oct 25 2003
This review is from: Thunder Of Silence (Paperback)
This is not the kind of book you read only once, the thinking that must go behind the author's words requires at least a second read. Author Joel Goldsmith tries to teach the reader that all we ever thought we knew about Grace or about God was never more than but under our noses. Through the power of silence and the ability to listen to a still, small voice you will hear, the reader just may be amazed at what was there all along.

5.0 out of 5 stars Teaches you to access God without any barriers, Sep 13 2003
This review is from: Thunder Of Silence (Paperback)
The more I study Joel Goldsmith material, the more awed I
am by his profound understanding and clarity in expressing
the unexpressable. His wording, his perception, vision,
and insights again and again move me, heal me, open me,
transform me.
I have studied Unity, Edgar Cayce writings, and many
others paths. I loved them all, (and continue to work with
that material too), but they brought me to this
door. I am not rejecting those, but this is a Giant Step
Forward into the Heart of God. If you're ready for it, you
will love it. The only other Goldsmith book I like better than
this is Parenthesis in Eternity. I have not read all of his
stuff yet...but plan to plow through every page before I
pass on! What a joy!

3.0 out of 5 stars The Thunder Of Silence:, Mar 12 2003
This review is from: Thunder Of Silence (Paperback)
This was the book that introduced me to Joel S. Goldsmith. I have studied spiritualism, mysticism, yoga, etc, since 1972, yet I had never come across his name. After reading this book I knew I had finally found someone who could explain this world and the next in terms I could understand. The most amazing aspect is his assertion that every evil comes from our belief in two powers; good and bad. God looked at his creation and saw that it was good or perfect; God could not create bad or evil. He goes on to describe this world as a great hypnosis, or mass consciousness brought on by God giving us free will to create our own world, good or bad. To fully appreciate what he has to say, you must read this book, and his first book, "The Infinite Way". Read them both with an open heart and mind.

5.0 out of 5 stars How can you speak?, Oct 7 2002
This review is from: Thunder Of Silence (Paperback)
This book changed my world forever. I have read all sorts of things after Goldsmith's books, but NOTHING ever surpasses the beauty and truth within his pages. His message is not for many, and most of the people I've lent the book to were unprepared for it. However, there are those of you who are destined to read his work and weep in the arms of his divine knowledge.

5.0 out of 5 stars thunder of silence, Feb 21 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Thunder Of Silence (Paperback)
joel's message leaves me speechless, having no words to adequately express how i feel. Words cannot be uttered. when i try to speak of the Infintie Way, i am stopped. It seems that all i have now are my tears. For those to whom joels' message is meant, you will understand. i can't say anymore.

The Infinite Way is the Christ teaching in its fullness.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book literally changed the direction of my life., Feb 26 1999
This review is from: Thunder Of Silence (Paperback)
I remember being drawn to buy it. I had never heard of the Joel Goldsmith. The first time I started to read it, I couldn't understand it. However, I was called back to it over and over again. Very shortly a 10 year study of mysticism, specifically and exculsively the work of Joel S. Goldsmith ensued. I encourage anyone with a deep yearning for the experience of Divine Unconditional Love to read this book. I am deeply and forever grateful.

5.0 out of 5 stars A special teaching for advanced mystical students., Jun 8 1996
By A Customer
This review is from: Thunder Of Silence (Paperback)
When we can hear the Thunder of Silence, the gates of heaven will open. Joel Goldsmith said that no student ever outgrows the principles and teachings in this book. The Thunder of Silence is founded on a lecture by the same name, given by Joel at 22 Kailua Road, in Kailua Hawaii in 1955. This lesson was given to only seven students, but with this book, these special lessons are available to the entire world
