Great book!,
This review is from: The Career Change Resume (Paperback)
The book contains a good quantity of useful information. It is a MUST to read the first part that is full of general details and explanations. I believe that if I had jumped right over the specific resumes, I would have not understand many things. I am still writing my resume and I should say that it has been quite a task, but I am sure that with what I have learned from this book I will be able to write a successful resume. I bought some other books not specifically addressed to career change and I was very disappointed on how some authors just said that career change in time of economic crisis is an awful mistake, or just give advise for specific careers (engineers, sales person, marketing). This book, proposes that change is natural and gives examples of a great diversity. This book is a good start to develop that marketing tool that is your resume. Go for it and embrace change!

I initially bought this book while in the military. I needed a new resume in order to apply for law school/graduate school. Utilizing this book helped me create a resume that aided in my acceptance to several schools. This year, I used the book to create a resume that helped me land a high profile Washington DC internship. If you need a resume for any reason and are tired of the other books, give this a try.
