4.0 out of 5 stars marriage101, Mar 18 2012
This review is from: 1001 Questions to Ask Before You Get Married (Paperback)
My fiance and I have been going through this book as we are to be married soon and are not having it in a church so we wanted some sort of marriage prep, basically we just wanted to ask and answer any questions that we havent already thought of asking. It has been very good so far, definately raised discussions, which is what we wanted. Havent made it through the whole thing yet, but the further you get, the more interesting it is! Highly recommend for anyone in a serious relationship that would like to better themselves and their partners relationship.

5.0 out of 5 stars Honeymoon Enhancer, July 9 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: 1001 Questions to Ask Before You Get Married (Paperback)
I learned so much about my fiance by going over these questions with him. Assumptions I was taking for granted were revealed to be inaccurate in several places - I was really glad we talked about them BEFORE getting married when it was probably easier to be honest. Afterwards I think I would have been more afraid of being honest and maybe of "ruining" our sense of togetherness. Other areas where I thought we might hold different opinions I was happily surprised to see we really agreed! I know that having done this (fun! really!) "homework" our "honeymoon" will last a whole lot longer! Great book - highly recommended to anyone in a serous relationship.

I WAS A LITTLE APPREHENSIVE AS TO WHETHER THIS BOOK WOULD BE AS HELPFUL AS THE CLAIMS AND RECOMMENDATIONS I READ ON IT. HOWEVER, IT IT EXTREMELY THOROUGH AND COVERS SO MANY THINGS YOU WOULD DISCOVER ABOUT YOUR PARTNER AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP IN THE FIRST YEAR OF MARRIAGE. I THINK THIS BOOK HELPS COUPLES GET ON THE SAME PAGE AND MAKES YOUR RELATIONSHIP STRONGER.

WELL WORTH THE MONEY, A GREAT GIFT AS WELL...AND ALSO FOR THOSE NOT SURE WHERE THE RELATIONSHIP IS GOING OR WHETHER IT SHOULD LEAD TO MARRIAGE ---THIS BOOK WOULD REALLY HELP YOU OUT TOO.

A MUST FOR ALL COUPLES!
