Great Read for the Beach!, Janv. 9 2008
I could not put this book down from the moment I opened the first page. It is an honest, open and sometimes brutal look into the icon that is Victoria Beckham. Love her or hate her, this book gives you an open view into who she really is. From her struggles as a teenage outcast to her sometimes-turbulent relationship with hubby David Beckham I loved this read. She is very honest about Geri Halliwell and when she left the spice girls and doesn't hold back on some of the people that have hurt or sold her out down the road. I couldn't put it down and can't wait for the next installment.

Victoria Beckham Soars, Juil 8 2004
This is an amazing biography! I grew up never really paying a whole lot of attention to the spice girls and didnt really care much about them. When someone suggested that I should read this book, I never knew her biography would be so interesting! It shows the other side of the stories that the press printed about her, many of it being false. Victoria grew up relatively normal, having the same problems as most teenage girls face and how she struggled with an eating disorder. It also talks about how spice girls was formed, the pain she suffered from being seperated from being away from her parents, and being in love with David Beckham. You also know how she feels about everything, about the music business and of her husbands profession. You can see the pain that victoria felt after seeing her husband and herself being abused by soccer fans and the press. Once you read this book you will have a new respect for Victoria and you will realize that there is more to her than being just "posh spice".

A very honest book, Jui 19 2004
Victoria was my favorite Spice Girls, but I wasn't too big of a fan back then, coz I was busy with college. After the spice girls went solo, I didn't really care about them, just heard news of them here and there.. but nothing too crazy.. Recently the Beckhams have been under the affair allegations... and the press has been abusing Victoria claiming she was not around and many columnists blamed her for not being there for her husband. However Victoria on the other hand, has been strong and showing the public that she is there for her husband, their love is for real and they have a strong family. After this, I am crazy about her. I think she is my new idol... so I searched for the book very hard, since it's out of print. Finally got a copy and I finished it in 5 days. It's really good book, very honest. She deals with the same problem as every teenagers, acne, boyfriends, fat, look, friends etc. With everything she went through, she has grown to be a very woman with inner beauty and strength of steel.

interesting and revealing, Janv. 22 2004
It's a good and entertaining book that shows you "the other side". Especially for the people who are just shouting and discriminating her and her family - she gives an insight on how that feels if you're the one abused. People don't seem to think sometimes.

One of the Best Books EVER!!!, Janv. 10 2004
I recently became a fan of Victoria Beckham after listening to one of her songs by accident. I didn't even know she was a spice girl....forget that....I didn't know who the spice girls were to begin with. When I first got the book, i couldn't put it down. This is a very honest book about Victoria's life. It really gives you the chance to fly with one of World's biggest celeb. The lonely 8 year old victoria Adams, the girl with spots, the pokey teenager, her first boyfriend, the meeting of the spice girls and the making of the spice girls, her first meeting with David Beckham, now her husband, Geri leaving the band, her first son Brooklyn's birth, her first single.....the kidnap threats....this book is a must have.....even if you not a spice girl or a Beckham fan.

Engaging and Entertaining..., Sep 6 2003
Enter the world of one the most famous yet mysterious women in the world; wife to one of Britain's top soccer players, international music phenomenon, and mother of a baby boy. Who is she? Posh Spice aka Victoria Adams-Beckham.Victoria takes you through her world from childhood to a rahter current phase in a witty and often sarcastic point of view. Her childhood is rather sad and lonely, which gives a possible perspective to her perma-pout (ha ha). Next you are taken into her young adulthood where she is taken up into the world of hte Spice Girls, and that is one of the most fascinating parts. Every true spice fan has heard of the house in Maidenhead, finding the producer to write their songs, and being formed into the girl group "touch", but reading Victorias point of view really lets readers know the full story from a real perspective. You get to watch the general rise and fall of the egirls, what Vicky is doing now, and what she has planned for the future. Also the color pictures included with the book are interesting to look at and provide a candid look at Posh's life. The only thing I chide her on is that there are way too many allusions to British pop culture which I simply can't follow. However for a fun, in-depth, easy read, pick this book up and you own't be able to put it down.

If you're a Victoria fan, READ THIS!, Déc 9 2002
Par Un client
The minute I heard this book was out I had to have it. I couldn't put it down. Of course, it is basically an overview of her life up to now, but really well written. Starts off with her childhood. Where she went to school, her family and friends, then into her college years and meeting with the girls. *Spice Girls* Meeting David, and falling in love, marriage and becoming a mother. Also gives little tid bits about life on the road as a Spice Girl, arguments, fights ect ect. Really a great book!! Every Victoria Fan must have this:)
