Pam has outdone herself with this fabulous book!, July 14 2004

I love this book because it describes a behavior (such as petting-induced aggression), then tells you why your cat is exhibiting the behavior and gives you an actual treatment plan!
Each behavior is explained in a short, concise manner, as are the treatment plans.
I enjoyed the section where Pam tells the true effect catnip has on your cat. She goes on to tell you how to use catnip, when to use it, why to use it, etc. It really makes you understand the positive aspects!
Also, there is a section called Playtime with Pizzazz. This is wonderful! She goes through it step-by-step. Example:
• Don't forget the sound effects
• The successful pounce and capture
• Wind the action down gradually
• Don't send mixed messages to your cat
• Play tips for timid cats
• Playtime reminders
Playtime with my cats is so much fun now!

Well written. I have 4 cats and all of her insights and tips were helpful. She knows what she's talking about. LOved it and will recommend it for sure.
