A great book about a great person and a great restaurant.
In many ways Alice Waters began what was then called - New American Cuisine - which has evolved over many decades. She was instrumental in bringing fresh, local, and, seasonal ingrediants to the urban world.
Well worth reading for anyone with an interest in good food.
A good read.
