Very Good for LINC,
By Random Musings (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Step Forward Canada 2: Language for Everyday Life (Paperback)
I bought this book to add to my arsenal of LINC resources, and I am suggesting it for my school to purchase. It is VERY nice to have all the objectives coordinated with the LINC curriculum. Even if the curriculum is changing, this should still match pretty closely. The biggest problem is that it is a bit easy for the CLB 4 group that I am currently teaching (the book aims to cover topics for benchmarks 3 to 5 if I recall correctly), but it will make nice review material once we have a class set.One more thing to note, you may want to look at pdf e-books, and photocopyable books, if you are buying a resource to give to your students. Having permission to photocopy class sets means you can use it endlessly, and students can write notes all over the pages.

Nice layout, good topics and I like the progression through the skills but program is designed for younger students of ESL, not adults.Wish this was clear when I inspected it online.
