Julia Donaldson is a fantastic childrens author. Her stories are unique and fun and Monkey Puzzle is another great addition to our preschool class room! I highly recommend any of her books!

My favourite Julia Donaldson - stumbled across it with my 3 yo daughter in a doctor's office, it sent me seraching for more of her books. Great for kids and adult childrens-books-lovers.

We have almost all of the books by Donaldson and Scheffler, but Monkey Puzzle is currently my 3-year-old's favourite. It is a very simple premise and storyline, but the anticipated reunion with mamma monkey at the end -- in fact, the vision of the little monkey family, dad, mum, and baby -- is so very satisfying. A conventional vision of "family," yes, but if you're alright with that then this is a lovely bedtime story, gentle and comforting.

i have read this book only three times since it arrived for my daughter and she aleady loves it.
she is 20 months old and is turning to the pages and reciting the first line and we have not had the book more than three days yet!
when she does this i know its going to be a hit.
great picutres and fun rhyming text.

We love this story in our house. It's a real favourite.

I love the way the story rhymes and is semi-repetitive as my 4 year old can join in the story telling.
