I bought this book sort of on a whim. I was ordering some more "technical" books on storyboarding and character work, saw it in the suggestions and thought "eh, why not" everyone needs some eye candy in their collection.
Little did I know that it would end up being the single more useful and insightful book I own. It is incredibly inspiring and so packed with priceless knowledge on working in the industry of film art production it blew my mind. I read the whole book in one sitting, then went back to read it again.
The visuals are absolutely stunning. I could stare at them for hours. the subtle, simple details... gorgeous. A definite must have for any animator, illustrator or animation enthusiast's bookshelf.
